Work the best of all filters

By

Comments about Mopar Original Equipment Oil Filter:

The Mopar filters seem to work the best for the line. The aftermarket filters drain back into the pan which cause a lifter noise and I am certain, long term wear.

Listen, it's real simple. This filter was MADE for MOPARS. You can buy a more expensive filter, but not a better one. Need another reason? It's black, and it says MOPAR on it ;) Yeah, I know, that was two reasons

Great product, good pricing; convenient availability compared to OEM dealer's Parts Dept's; Potentially Advance could expand this line and carry more MoPAR brand service parts and at discount prices (i.e. air filters, spark plug wires, dist caps, trans oil filters, etc...)

Comments about Mopar Original Equipment Oil Filter:

Good product. I've been buying this 05281090 (MO-090) filter since it was first released, for about 18 yrs or so now, with no problem to date. Many different Chrysler-engineered engine applications in many different cars for each of many oil changes. Hard to go wrong with this one. A couple of suggestions that may or may not be of use to some: Watch out to not double-gasket if your previous non-MoPar filter leaves its gasket on the engine's filter mount flange. Careful when dealing with a Chrysler product that has a Mitsubishi-built engine, as most had a very similar BUT NOT the same mounting thread size as this filter requires. Make that mistake and the filter can blow-off. And, no need to go crazy on the tightening.
