Comments about MOOG Tie Rod End:

Part went on good. The directions with the part were well written both on holding the rack loosen and tighten plus on cleaning the matting part and how to apply locative and torquec them. Wish it had come with new boot and clamps, or the website gave that option. Was able to get old one loose and onto new boot. I then was able to get the clamp tight again with a constant velocity boot clamp tool.

You may use either a 21mm open/box end wrench or adjustable wrench to remove this Moog Tie Rod EndPart No. EV80702.

      • A:

The 21mm nut is on the outer tie rod end. This is the inner tie-rod end, and the nut size is bigger than 21mm. I too am trying to find this out so I can purchase the correct inner tie rod tool kit.

      • A:

You need an inner tie rod tool kit that has a 1 5/16" crow foot. I just got off the phone with an Advance Auto employee who had one in possession, and said it is definitely 1 5/16".
