Comments about MOOG Tie Rod End:

Installed it on a 2006 Dodge Grand caravan SXT, good match.

The OE inner rod is round and does not have a Square or hex spot to hold onto it with a wrench only some grooves to grab onto with pliers. I couldn"t get a good grip in the inner rod in order to remove the outer rod so I cut off the inner and replaced both tie rod ends. (maybe a pipe wrench would have done job I didn"t try)

Comments about MOOG Tie Rod End:

Needed inner and outer tie rods on a 2004 Pacifica read that moog was the best choice. The quality seemed great on them better than the ones on the car and even have grease fittings and a lifetime warranty. I did the job myself then brought for an alignment. For the inner tie rods you should really rent the tool to do them made it easier for me. So par put a 1000 miles on the tie rods and everything seems nice and stiff in the front end now. These cost more money but recomend spending the extra cash.

Comments about MOOG Tie Rod End:

My steeering was a bit loose. My husband checked it out and found the tie rod ends were loose. We ordered them from Advance Auto Parts and picked them up at the store in Sunbury, PA. We chose the MOOG ends and they are the best quality front end parts available.

          • Q:

I am looking for the diameter inner or outer of the female end of the tie rod. The reason is because i had NTB do some repairs on my vehicle and the part failed because NTB put on the wrong tie rod. i asked NTB where they got the part and for a part #. Well they do not have a part # included in the repair record which i know is not true. The diameter of the tie rod is bigger than it is supposed to be. They just dont want me 2 prove them they were wrong. it should not have any play/movement after it is SCREWED on the rack. I am just trying to make sure that the wrong part was installed. the brand was moog but was installed on 10/12/10. Not even 10,000 miles b4 it this occured. Thank You for your time and response
