Comments about MOOG Tie Rod End:

MOOG has grease fitting, but hole not tapped for threads. Easy change. Shop wanted $134 plus tax for same exact replacement on opposite side two years ago parts/labor. Found online code for 30% off. Saved at least $90.

Comments about MOOG Tie Rod End:

Moog progucts are nothing but the best, I installed a rebuilt rack & pinion, when I disassembled the front end found my tie rod ends were loose, replaced with Moog. Now my Dakota drives like a new one I can't beleive how quick the steering is now.

Item purchased for 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T. Heavy car almost 95,000 miles. Have upgraded everything have done to car and this was just one more thing needed after shocks, struts and new tires to get aligned. Worked perfectly. Thanks.

Comments about MOOG Tie Rod End:

the factory front suspension in the third generation dodge dakotas has a rep for being weak.although some have great service/long mileage with few problems,if you read the different forums/reviews a lot these trucks start to have issues at around 40000 to 50000 miles with struts, upper control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends, stabilizer links etc. i put the moog tie rod ends on as part of a front suspension rebuild for my truck. these are the tie rod ends dodge should have put on these trucks to begin with.quality fit & solid construction..its moog, the choice of many professionals, that says it all,lol

Put these on my Dodge Dakota. It doesn't show it in the picture but mine had a grease zerk as opposed to being sealed. I personally prefer the zerk over the sealed. I like having the ability to regularly grease them. Solid construction. Everything went together well.

Comments about MOOG Tie Rod End:

replaced 2006 Chrysler 300c original tie rods at 70k miles. The original should have been replaced probably at 50k, but mechanic had missed diagnosing the cause of thump in front end. These moog tie rods were def worth paying more than the standard tie rods but about the same cost as the MOPAR OEM tie rods. note the OEM's don't have grease fittings.

            • Q:

I have a 2006 Dodge Charger with 80k miles. I am fairly sure that my outer tie rod ends are worn out. I have read countless posts on different forums about the outer tie rods wearing out prematurely causing a rumbling sound in the front end at low speeds. I jacked one side up and could notice a slight movement in the tie rod assembly when I moved the tire by hand. Was looking for a second opinion before purchasing new parts.

I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
