Comments about MOOG Tie Rod End:

bought a MOOG tie rod end for my 98 Jeep Wrangler. Product fit great and the best you can buy for a stock replacement. Use the old line promore code and got 30% off. Ended up buying 2 at the discount price with local store pickup. Did a ZJ tie rod pick up for a great price.

Comments about MOOG Tie Rod End:

Heavy, strong, durable. Built to take the punishment of trucks and Jeeps. I drive my Jeep on and off-road with my entire family, so when it came time to replace my tie rod ends, Moog was the clear choice. Jeepers will tell you, they make some of the best and most durable steering parts around. Also, this tie rod end comes with a standard grease nipple pre-installed, so the joint is easily greaseable out of the box. You don't have to fumble around trying to screw in the nipple with greasy hands, as I've done with other brands. Note: the nipple sticks directly out of the top, opposite the end post, so depending on where you are installing it, you could have a clearance issue. Be sure to check first!

Most replacement tie rod ends and even ball joints have plastic bushings! Do yourselve a favor and buy Moog. Quality construction and lifetime warranty make these an obvious choice if you care for your vehicle and your time.

Do I have to grease this out of the box or does it have grease in it?

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

I'm happy to help, Jon! MOOG Tie Rod Ends will have some grease in them to ensure wear will not occur inside the part during shipping or installation. MOOG does indicate that the parts will need to be greased with the appropriate chassis lubricant for your vehicle. This is done to ensure you are able to choose the lubricant appropriate for your application, as well as keep the shipping container and part clean until you receive it.
