Comments about MOOG Sway Bar Link Kit:

Moog is good stuff, bushing material is a whole lot better than OEM, but then again, OEM stuff went 200,000 miles. Hadn't realized how handling had degraded. But these bad boys on, and it's like a new truck, save for the other bushings that REALLY need replacement too. Guess I'll be gettin these from advance shortly.

Comments about MOOG Sway Bar Link Kit:

The originals on my 2002 F150 were worn and made a clanging noise every time I hit an uneven place on the road. This was a perfect replacement (I bought one for each front wheel). I had to remove the wheel and lower the jack almost all the way to get them worked in, but it only took a total of 30 minutes to install both of them.

this part appears well made but the bolt was 3/8 " shorter than oem as were all the others in the local Advance store. so got some help from Advance employee on how to install. He had experince in 4wd modifications.Removed both sides(pass./driver)original sway bar links, then installed one side minus one bushing.Tightened it down and that allowed the other ,sway bar bolt the extra threads needed.Tightened that one then removed other side , then re-installed it with all hardware .

Hi Rick, glad to help you! The Moog Sway Bar Link Kit (Part No. K8772) is a conventional type linkage. They are sold by application not by the size so that size of this part is not provided by the manufacturer. In order to check the exact fit application for the part number K8772, please provide us the year, make, model and engine size of your vehicle.

                    A:

Great question, Rawworm! These MOOG sway bar links are a great choice to replace the broken links! Sway bar links are generally installed with the bolt head at the top, this normally makes installation easier. For specific instructions on installation in your vehicle I recommend purchasing a repair manual as well, which will help with even more repairs and maintenance for your vehicle. As this sway bar link kit is designed for 1997-2009 Ford and Lincoln full size non-HD trucks and SUVs I recommend Chilton Part No. 26666 or Haynes Part No. 36059.

It is always best to replace BOTH sway bar links during the same repair. Suspension and steering parts operate best when they match. I highly advise you to buy both (2) sway bar links of the same brand and part number and install them both during the same repair task.
