Comments about MOOG Sway Bar Link Kit:

Parts worked great! The only problem I had came across was I had to do one side at a time. It would probably installed a lot easier if I had a set of jack stands so I could have taken both side off at the same time. Only doing one side at a time there is still pressure on the sway bar and it makes it hard to get the bottom two bushings in. You will probably need some help if you do one side at a time. I say this because I had to use a pry bar to push down on the top bolt, while my wife started the nut. There would have been no way for me to pull down on the bolt and get the nut started. I hope this helps someone out if you this yourself.

I purchased the Tie Rods a few days after replacing the front Shocks. While replacing the shocks I noticed that the tie rod bushings were gone and the tie rod was sort of just floating loose between the torsion bar and the lower control arm. Due to schedule issues I had to wait before replacing them. A few days later I purchased them and installed them both within 2 hours probably less. The end result was I now had a tighter feeling in the overall stability and handling on corners and one less rattle in this old 99 Ford Ranger

Comments about MOOG Sway Bar Link Kit:

I had rumbling noise in the front end due to the fact the pads on the sway bar were worn out. After I replace then, the noise was gone and the ride was smooth. The only problem I had was that the pads were a little thicker than normal and had to force them in. After that, piece of cake.

                    A:

With reference to your inquiry on the Moog Sway Bar Link Kit - part# K7275, on your Ford Explorer the OEM style end links are a long bolt that goes through the bushings at the bar as well as the bushings at the control arm and the nut is on the underside of the control arm. The nut should be torqued to 21-29 Nm or 15-21 lb/ft. However, I would suggest you to refer your vehicle owner's manual for the exact torque specifications in order to avoid intermittence. For any further assistance, please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
