I own two Dodge mini-vans and the factory stabilizer links are a weak point that wear out. On the first minivan we bought, I replaced the original links with cheap aftermarket ones and they wore out quickly. So when the second van needed them, I bought these Moog and they are better quality than the factory ones. These Moog have metal bushings instead of the factory molded plastic bushings. The Moog also have grease fittings unlike the factory, so they will last much longer. I typically keep a vehicle for about 10-12 years, so durability is important. I try to avoid the 'cheap' parts altogether becauase they are a waste of money. I find it much more economical to buy the good parts and do the job right instead of buying the cheap parts and do the job over multiple times.

Comments about MOOG Sway Bar Link Kit:

Just removed a Driveworks link that failed to last a year; granted, this link is a known 'weak-point' on Chrysler mini-vans, I still expected to get more than a year's worth of use. Put on a Moog part and noise is gone, and I'm confident this will be a longer-wearing part than the low-cost part. Will probably remove the other Driveworks link soon and replace that one, too- just for the confidence of having two Moog parts on my van. If you're only going to keep your van a short time, go with the lower-cost part; otherwise, its a no-brainer.

Comments about MOOG Sway Bar Link Kit:

These have metal bushings and grease zerks allowing for preventative maintenance. Due to the location of these links on minivans, they transmit quite a bit of suspension noise to the passenger compartment when worn and make a big difference when replaced. The lifetime warranty and the ease of installation make the higher initial cost easy to justify. I bought the lower cost links one year ago and had to replace them within 20K miles. Utilize the online order function in order to get a discount, makes the choice even easier.

I found these units to be of top quality and seem to be well built. The included instructions were straight forward. However, I found a video on the internet that showed step by step how to change these links along with a number of suggesions to make it easier to remove and install. Installing these links solved my noisy front end problems.

Hi Johnny! It depends upon the skill level of the person performing the operation. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

What is the warranty on this product. One review said it was lifetime, but I do not see that anywhere. You would think if this thing cost more than 2x the driveworks, it would have a decent warranty.
