Comments about MOOG Leaf Spring Bushing:

Beware: When you remove the old bushing from the leaf spring, no doubt the bolt is seized in the inner sleeve. Cut the bolt with a cut-off wheel (Not a sawz-all), then drill the rubber out of the bushing & remove ONLY THE INNER SLEEVE & RUBBER. DO NOT CHISEL OUT THE REMAING OUTER SHELL!!!!!! The new bushing will fit inside the old outer shell. If you remove & destroy the old outer shell the new bushing will not fit.

Pay attention to this extremely important detail & you'll be fine.

        • Q:

This is a rear bushing, will it work as both an upper & lower bushing?
I believe there are two bushings per side. One in the leaf spring itself (lower), and one in the vehicle's chassis (upper).

Hi Jd! I can only look them up by a vehicle. Since you didn't mention the specific vehicle, it's hard to tell for sure. To give you the correct information I would need the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle.

            A:

This is for the rear bushing of the leaf spring so only two will need to be purchased. the front bushing of the leaf spring is a different part.
