Comments about MOOG Hub Assemblies Hub Assembly:

30mm... this is important. Measure the shaft size before buying a new hub. My mk6 2012 golf uses 30mm spindle bearings and wheel looking up my car it gives me a list of "compatible" parts. Inside this list are 32 and 30mm bearings.

Yep, bought the wrong one first.

Comments about MOOG Hub Assemblies Hub Assembly:

Moog makes awesome stuff. After driving with 2 bad rear hubs for a couple of months, I am ecstatic about how quit my car is now. The VW hubs only lasted 85K. I don't know if it's a design flaw or a bad run, but I would have expected more out of the originals. I only have a few hundred miles on the new ones, but I am expecting that the Moogs will last longer.

  • Q:

There seems to be very little grease in the bearing. Is one supposed to add more grease during installation and prior to installing the dust or grease cap? Does Advanced Auto sell the dust cap separately?
