Comments about MOOG Hub Assemblies Front Wheel Hub Assembly:

These appear well made, but do not have a name on the bearing. The abs wiring harness has a factory connector and all of the factory tabs to hold it in place of the factory harness. Have only logged a few thousand miles on these, time will tell about the durability.

Comments about MOOG Hub Assemblies Front Wheel Hub Assembly:

Replaced hub assembly after destroying it with torch, hammer, etc. trying to get out of knuckle. It was really stuck. This assembly is a great replacement and makes it easy to replace and not worry about taking apart to replace bearings and need more tools and time for that. Time is always a factor especially if you need your truck to do stuff.

Hi BH, glad to assist you! The wheel hub assembly installation depends upon the skill level of the person performing the operation. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes or Chilton repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

        • Q:

Is there a difference in the connector between 4wheel abs and 2 wheel abs. Last time I bought a timken bearing from auto zone and it had the wrong connector. Once I spliced in the old connection the cruise control is not operational. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Big horn with 4wd and the quad cab if that helps. The store in my area does not have one in stock and you really cannot tell from the photo online what the connector looks like. Is there a way to verify the connection before I purchase?

This Moog Front Wheel Hub Assembly - part# 515101 fits your 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. It features integral raceway with precisely matched bearing elements specifically designed to handle the load requirements for each application. OE-style ABS sensor and plug for proper connection and stronger ABS signal.

        • Q:

According to my VIN number my truck only has rear ABS, however after removing the front wheel, I noticed a connector there that the dealer is saying is for the ABS? The dealer says that they're are connectors on the front wheel for the ABS even if the vehicle only has rear ABS? My truck is a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500/4WD/SLT/Quad Cab/4.7 motor. Is this true? Please help as I need to replace the left front wheel hub(well actually bearing, but am just replacing the hub assembly). Also why the price difference between the wheel works part#NT515073 and the Moog part#515101? Thank You!

I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
