Comments about MOOG Hub Assemblies Front Wheel Hub Assembly:

Used this on my 2009 Dodge Avenger SXT 2.7 V6. I was having a lot of "road noises" between 50mph and 70mph. Loud humming which became a nuisance and I was tired of dealing with it. First of all I will say if your brakes or rotors need changed... DO IT ALL AT ONE TIME! I have changed mine twice in 5 years so I already knew what to take apart. To install this you will need only a few items and it's rather painless. Most important tip: get a 4lb hammer to knock the old hub assembly loose in case there is a lot of rust. Mine was very rusted. 115k through 5 winters in Ohio etc. Took a lot of banging with a BA hammer. Hit in a circle motion and try to knock it from the back. Once it comes out the new hub slides right in after cleaning all the parts from rust and lubing it up. I used brake lube since its long lasting and durable. Should take 1-2 hours for each hub assembly replacement. Better than paying hundreds for the shop to replace one.
