At 150 miles, the "Check Brake" and "ABS" dash lights came on at the same time when I started my 2005 Isuzu Ascender LS 4.2L (2WD). They would stay illuminated until I turned the truck off. They would come back one whenever the truck was started...sometimes coming on after a few miles driving. After reading online, I saw this was an issue caused by the ABS sensor in the wheel hub either going bad or being corroded/dirty. I figured since I still had the original hub, I would replace it. Moog was highly rated on Trailvoy forum so I went with them. Install was easy on my 2WD, just removed the brake assembly, rotor and a few bolts for the hub. (Use torque spec's!). Hub fit right and abs harness is long w/ clips so no connection prob's.

Comments about MOOG Hub Assemblies Front Wheel Hub Assembly:

I install a lot of bearings in a year. I tried installing driveworks (Chinese) Bearings to save some customers some money. I torque all the bolts and nuts to exact specifications. I had every single driveworks bearing fail some within 3000 miles all within a year. The Moogs have had only one failure out of several dozen installed. Even the Moogs made in China are holding up ok.

Comments about MOOG Hub Assemblies Front Wheel Hub Assembly:

Looked identical to the factory unit and bolted into place without any modifications. Sometimes these units can be a pain to remove if the unit has been on the vehicle for several years. I have found loosening the bolts on the back of the wheel bearing about 4 turns. Then tap on the bolts with a hammer, this will break the wheel bearing loose from the hub with very little effort. When removing the old unit the plastic wire clips for the sensor can be damaged. The new unit has a complete set of clips so if you damage one or all of them no need to worry.

Seems to be a quality made part...time will tell. Easy install but does not contain any torque specs. For a 2003 trailblazer use 77 ft/lbs for the 3 hub mounting bolts and 103 ft/lbs for drive axle nut.

I don't like that the buyer has to be the one to pick up the part, with ID, when bought online and pick up in store. I work out of town and buy online and my wife usually picks up the parts since she drives right by AA on way home from work. Its a waste of a trip for me. But theft seems to be a way of life these days. So I guess I understand why this is done. Thieves need to fix there cars also. AA is just protecting against fraud. Just wish there was an option
