We bought one of these using the phone due to the fact that Advance didn't send a $50 discount code on the last deal code purchase over $100 and they would only allow the discount by calling in. This was an "oversight", but why not send the code when told of the "oversight". This one was as pictured including the wiring holder on the part. It had a vinyl wire cover. The second was purchased online using another deal code. It was picked up and noted that it had a woven wire cover and black studs. It was also pointed out that it was marked as "Federal" and had a different wire holder on the part. Two stores insisted that this was the correct part with the 3 year warranty. I am not happy that the second part did not match the oem as it does not have the shouldered studs as the first did and to make matters worse the studs are a bit shorter than oem.
After all that, I can say that they have worked for the last couple of weeks, since installation. I cannot give this part an Perfect review as the 2 parts were so vastly different and were supposed to be the same. By the way, I used another deal code for the second hub purchase and have yet to see the same type of $50 on $100 purchase come to the email.

Great parts, bad service at least you know what to expect.

Comments about MOOG Hub Assemblies Front Wheel Hub Assembly:

Moog is always a great product and I always use them because I hate doing something twice if I don't have to, the 40-80 dollar difference in price does not matter unless you think your time is worth more than the price difference. 10/10 would use Moog again and would even pay more because I want quality not getmebytillmynextgovermwntcheckbecauseimtolazytoworktwojobssoicanbettermyselfinthefuture.

Comments about MOOG Hub Assemblies Front Wheel Hub Assembly:

This appears to be a very good bearing. I have bought some that were junk over the years. Hopefully they will last much longer than the other cheap stuff we are forced to buy now-a-days. The sensor on the original had intermittent failures and this cured that problem. Don't overlook the available discount codes available on the internet. I also replaced thee brakes while everything was apart and now that everything is copacetic the warning lights are out and the car is a joy to drive again.

Comments about MOOG Hub Assemblies Front Wheel Hub Assembly:

Moog used to be a brand I could trust, but these hub assemblies are not reliable. Bearings should last longer than 45,000 miles. They failed just months out of warranty. Read the reviews, this is not a rare exception. It is happening way more than it should. The driveworks hub assemblies have been more reliable. It's time consider a different premium bearing supplier for my cars.

Comments about MOOG Hub Assemblies Front Wheel Hub Assembly:

I bought these instead of the GM replacements thinking the Moog product would be as good if not better. They installed fine and seemed to work well. 38,000 miles (3.5 years) later I go in for an alignment and I'm told they're shot! I check them out myself and sure enough they both have a ton of play in them and needed to be replaced. I called Moog to express my displeasure and was told; and I quote " If you want something that lasts longer you should look at a different brand, maybe OEM" What could I say after that comment? No more Moog for me!!!

Installed two of PN 513179 on a Buick Lacrosse. One failed with 2,000 miles. Noticed a scrapping noise at full wheel lock, and found the wheel had over 1/4" of play! Returned it, and will try the less expensive Made in China part instead. The Moog part is made in Korea. Disappointed in the quality.

First time I ever attempted this, Only previous experience was changing brakes one time. Watched youtube video. Everything went as anticipated. Only small amount of blood. Make sure you have all the correct socket wrenches and large breaker bar. I am 67 yrs old, not as strong as used to be. Just need determination and breaker bar to loosen bolts. Must have air impact chisel off old hub. Install is easy. Removing old is the hard part. Helped to have my two sons to help. Neither had done this repair before.

On 8/01/15 I asked the following question:
My book says to install the (moog)hub to the steering knuckle with 3 NEW bolts. Do these bolts come with the hub assembly?
Steve answered: No, John, this part does not include bolts.
My next question: Do you have these bolts available? If so what is the part number.
                  Thanks, John

Hi John, I did check with the manufacturer to source the part number for the bolts, however they does not have them listed. Also we do not have the compatible bolts for the wheel bearing for your vehicle. I would suggest that you visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store to check the availability of this part.
