Comments about MOOG Driveline Products U Joint:

Fit my TJ perfect. Do yourself a favor and save some time (or a day) take it to the oil change / shop to have them pressed in properly. I burned through two more just because I was at aligning it right. Also ended up slightly denting my driveshaft and now have a hum/vibration. It's easy to remove the driveshaft and take it somewhere, or just drive it. I was charged $30 to press both of them in.

Comments about MOOG Driveline Products U Joint:

Used 2 of these on my 95 jeep Cherokee rear drive shaft and solved the low speed vibration and clunking. Would like to have used spicer u joints but they had them in stock and not a bad price with the coupon code. Moog stands by their products and will continue to use them. Never had a bad mood before. Will buy again

Comments about MOOG Driveline Products U Joint:

The U-joint (part no. 369) IS NOT for 2WD Ford Explorers as the description says it is. My old one on the driveshaft going towards the rear differential was starting to break loose as I was getting a loud clunking noise from the rear end whenever I shifted into gear. But the good thing is that when I went to return the parts Tom who was at the Groveland, FL store was nice enough to give me an even exchange with another Moog brand U-joint with grease fittings and he compared them with my old ones, so we put on part No. 354 which are the correct ones for 2WD explorers. So if you have a 2WD explorer get these!

How do I know if this will work for my 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport 3.7L 4x4? It says exact fit, but I am seeing about 10 different options with several different measurements for the yoke (anywhere from 3.2 to 3.8 inches). How do I know what size to get?

              • A:

how many? well crawl under it and count... or purchase a car manual...
secondly.. about 30 minutes per wheel to replace all a u-joint when jeep is up takes about fifteen minutes per joint. to unscrew 8 bolts install grease valve, inject grease and reinstall. so all the way around on a 2002 I am guessing 7 u joints unless you have CV joints for axles.
Mainly if your second guessing your mechanics quote this is not the place to ask and furthermore if you can't answer YOUR questions with out help.. you should not be working on a vehicle of any kind

we would need more information like engine and wheel drive(4WD, 2WD, RWD) specification of your vehicle before we can make a suggestion. The replacement time will depend on the skill level of whoever is removing or replacing the part. Some may have a harder time than others who have experience with this type of project.
