      Yes, it needs to be pressed in while replacement. Control arm bushings are pressed in and require some force to get out. When removing the control arms, make sure that they are replaced with the exact adjustment that was present when they were removed. Exact adjustment depends/differs on the year and type of vehicle.

      Well this all depends on the skill level of whoever is removing or replacing the part. Some may have a harder time than others who have experience. I would recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
