    do i need to replace the coil spring insulator when i replace my rear struts, what does it do.

      A:

      Yes, it is better to replace the coil spring insulator when replacing the struts as it helps the ride height so the car can be properly aligned when the springs get weak usually. You can also insert air bags into coil springs and then adjust the height with air pressure.
