It's a ball joint.

So... it works? Fit great with the proper press. Despite the item description, it does in fact have grease fittings on it.

Decent boot, good seal.

      Comments about MOOG Ball Joint:

I put a lot of trust in these parts for me to put on my family's vehicles and so far they really do hold up. And for the price and the location of there many stores makes them even better than there competition. So there for you can bet that I will be coming back to get what I need at the drop of a dime because 9 times out of ten the parts are in stock which makes any weekend job go without stress thanks to their knowledgeable staff members that will help you with any unanswered questions that I may have.

        Comments about MOOG Ball Joint:

This part number now has grease fittings. It's heavy and durable. I pressed one in at an angle (by accident) and destroyed the control arm, yet it did not destroy the ball joint. After a test drive, they appear to work fine. The price is a little high. I found them 1/2 price at another place.

Pressing in was a bit of a challenge using the loaner tools because the ball joint pressing surface (not the part that fits into the hole) is not the same size as the OEM. Just move slowly and carefully.

Well made part. Everybody I have spoken to recommends Moog suspension parts. They said if you don't use Moog parts you will be replacing the part again.

              Comments about MOOG Ball Joint:

I only use American made suspension components . Don't try to save money on parts that hold your suspension together.A failure of these parts could be life threatening.

                Comments about MOOG Ball Joint:

Bought these ball joints for my daughters 2003 V6 Mustang. These were easy to install and appear to be good quality parts. She doesn't have her license yet so the car hasn't been driven too much since they were installed but I don't foresee any problems.
