Comments about MOOG Ball Joint:

Parts were on the counter when I walked into the store, checkout was easy, tools that I needed were offered and LOANED to me (saving me at least $175), and they actually carried everything to the truck and loaded it up for me !! FANTASTIC !!

  • Q:

My repair shop says ball joints are only serviced as part of the control arms. I went to the local Advanced Auto store and a rep had the ball joints in stock and showed them to me. I have never had a problem with advice from Advanced so I am a little confused. I suspect my shop is either pulling a fast one or doesn't know.

I just need assurance that if I buy the ball joints without control arms, they will fit my vehicle with no problems. I know the part description says that is so but I am still a little hesitant.

Maybe I need a new mechanic!

    Thanks,

    Tom

      A:

Yes, the ball joints are sold separately without the control arms. In order to check the exact fit application, please provide the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle.
