MOOG Problem Solver products incorporate proven design and engineering features to ensure like new steering, ease of installation and longer life. MOOG is the preferred steering and suspension parts brand of professional technicians and NASCAR Crew Chiefs.

Product Features:
  • Problem Solver® powdered metal gusher bearing design enables grease to flow through the bearing to the stud for reduced friction and enhanced strength and stability.
  • Problem Solver® patented cover plate design allows for tighter tolerances vs traditional cover plate designs, providing a more durable and extended life part.
  • Exclusive cover plate protects against contaminants leaking into the bearing surface.
  • MOOG® engineered steel composition results in a stronger component. Full ball metal stud provides 360 degrees of smooth, consistent, rotational movement resulting in more responsive steering.

Kind of iffy on this

Comments about MOOG Ball Joint:

Yes I gave it 5 stars because they do make good quality parts. If you never did this job you have to remove the steering knuckle first. Then press out and press in. I suggest while its out do upper and lower. If they are OEM then there is a ridge you have to shave off with a chisel and hammer.then press out.
Now why I am iffy on this. I got 2. First one was fine. 2nd one had no boot or hardware. Returned and picked up a replacement at another local store. It didn't have a boot. All sealed package. It has some inner boot and counter guy said that's how they were coming now. Ok......
Install it and there was about 1/4 inch of it still uncovered where a boot would of had it covered and Greased.
So guess we shall see how long this lasts.

IS this a single ball joint? How many come in this package 1 or 2? If 1 I am assuming I would need to buy one for the other side.
