    why is there an option to buy electronic shocks or non electronic shocks? whats the difference? and would it be ok to put reg shocks in front and leave factory struts in back?

      If the car/truck originally came with the "Ride Control" auto-leveling feature (for heavy loads), it has an air compressor that pumps up air shocks in the back to keep the car level. These shocks go in the front and have a sensor that tells the computer how high the front is riding.

      If you don't have this feature, you don't need these shocks. If you do have this feature, you must have these or you will disable the Ride Control feature.

      These are made for vehicles that have electronic or air ride suspensions. Pictures can sometimes be just a generalization of a part and not a picture of the actual part itself.

      They have an electronic sensor inside (connector is in the center of the top mount stud) that tells the computer how high the front is, so it knows how much air to put in the back.
