Monroe® Reflex® monotube shocks are specifically engineered to provide better handling, control and performance for light trucks and SUV's. These shocks feature a high-pressure gas charge that separates the unit internal oil and nitrogen to provide additional spring rate, helping to maximize damping efficiency and control. To further enhance ride control characteristics, Monroe® Reflex® monotube shocks include a hydraulic lockout to cushion the impact as the vehicle suspension is fully extended.

Product Features:
  • Hydraulic Lockout: Patented unique hydraulic lock-out isolates impact at the limits of suspension travel
  • All Weather Fluid: Contains special modifiers to reduce friction and ensure smooth rod reaction.
  • High Pressure Nitrogen Gas Charged: High-pressure charge (240-260 PSI) provides a quicker response for excellent vehicle control
  • Shock Housing: High strength to resist damage and provide longer service life.
  • Nitrocarburized Rod: For long service life
  • Fluon Banded Piston: The fluon band provides consistent sealing between the piston and pressure tube which delivers better control and increased durability.
  • Free Floating Dividing Piston: Separates shock fluid from high-pressure gas charge.

Comments about Monroe Reflex Monotube Shock Absorber:

They were easy to install. It took longer to find my tools than to install them... LOL. I did it with the tires on, but i am sitting 20 inch rims also. Do it it yourself and save that money for other parts.

        A:

Glad to be of assistance! These Monroe Reflex Monotube Shock Absorbers are a great option to provide stability in your Grand Cherokee. The Reflex are designed with light trucks and SUVs in mind. The Sensa-Trac model would also provide predictable handling as the rear shocks that you're speaking of are Sensa-Trac load adjusting shocks. Make sure to check that your Grand Cherokee does not have the Up-Country Suspension before making your purchase. We also carry many other shock brands depending upon your personal preferences for ride and the use of the vehicle.
