Comments about Monroe Reflex Light Truck Shock Absorber:
I used these Reflex shocks on my 1990 F-150. I've had them on about a week and they work great. They were easy to install and reasonably priced. A bit of feedback if you're replacing rear shocks... I purchased the Monroe air shocks and installed them as well. They were easy to install and "fit" perfectly and work great. However... In Ford's efforts to save every penny in cost, the emergency brake cable is routed with none to spare and rubs against the left rear shock. In fact, they even have a plastic cover over the portion of the brake cable that rubs against the shock. With the standard shock, not a problem - just rubs off the paint. With the air shock, it rubs against the soft rubber boot on the shock and will ruin it. So, I just tied it down with some wire so it doesn't rub... not the best solution, but seems to work fine given the expense to extend the cable or remove and re-route.
