Monroe® OESpectrum® struts are engineered specifically for foreign nameplate vehicles and feature the latest global original equipment valving technologies. Developed through years of research and on-vehicle testing, Monroe® OESpectrum® units provide an unprecedented level of handling precision and control while filtering out the ride harshness commonly encountered on many foreign nameplate applications. This unique blend of control and comfort is made possible through Tenneco's 'Twin Technology™ Active Control System', an exclusive internal damping control technology first developed for leading global vehicle manufacturers. Tenneco's Twin Technology™ consists of its latest Impact Control Valve (ICV), which delivers exceptional control under virtually all driving conditions, and a patented Low Speed Tunability (LST) piston design that isolates impact-related noise, vibration and harshness.

  • All Weather Fluid: Contains special modifiers to reduce friction and ensure smooth rod reaction.
  • Rod Displaced Valving: Tuned specifically for each application, this valving automatically adjusts to road extremes to provide consistency and ride comfort.
  • Fluon Banded Piston: The fluon band provides consistent sealing between the piston and pressure tube which delivers better control and increased durability.

  • Hardened and Chrome Plated Piston Rod: Long service life.

  • Unique Rod Guide and Single Lip Seal: Bronze reinforced rod guide bearing and special seal provides longer service life and consistent performance.
  • Special Dust Boot/Jounce Bumper: Protective dust boot reduces dirt and any moisture build-up. Jounce bumper helps prevent severe suspension movement. Dust boot & jounce bumper sold separately.

Easy to install if you have the correct coil compressor. Very disappointed that after less than a year one failed and then the other side. Thank God that it has lifetime warranty. The only problem is that it took me to major repairs to repair my suspension problem.

    I just had this brand of struts placed on my 2004 Altima. Something is not right. The front of my vehicle sits higher than the back. When I was driving home my car felt like it was bouncing. I also had shocks put on the back. I can see the strut when looking at my car. Any advice on this?

      Unfortunately we are unable to diagnose what is wrong with your vehicle without being able to be there with your vehicle. We highly recommend taking your vehicle to a reputable shop to have them take a look at it to determine the cause.

      sometimes the struts are defective and stay all the way open and stay that way at the max ... or the strut is too powerfull for your car i mean u got a strut for a havier vehicle or u got the wrong zise of springs but in this kaind of wheater is verry dangerous to keep driving ur car like that cuz the struts and shoks are designed to keep ur tires in touch with the grownd and keep them from bouncing so be carefull in that way is verry easy to loose control
