Comments about Monroe Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:

I have bought Monroe Brand for all my cars and trucks for over 10 years without problem until now. I purchased the Monroe Load adjusting Shock Absorbers for my 02 Grand Cherokee Laredo I6. I read up on them before purchasing and all seemed well. I bought them, they installed easily and cleared my tires and gave my jeep just the right lift and ride. After a few months I started hearing loud creaking while driving. I was upset and the ride became bad. I figured they had to be replaced and may just be some fluke, maybe I got a bad set. When attempting to have my new tires rotated I discovered that the shocks had bowed and the coils had been rubbing and cutting a groove into the sidewall of my brand new $200 each tires. The groove made the tires unsafe and they need to be replaced and the defective shocks voided my warranty. I replaced shocks thinking just a bad set with the same ones and I am waiting on Moroe to pay for the tire replacement. In the meantime the new set was on for less than two weeks, failed again and are now cutting into my tires again. Would not recommend this to anyone. These shocks give an otherwise good company a bad name. I gave it one star because it would not allow zero stars

Comments about Monroe Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:

Gave me over an inch lift in the back end of my 00 Jeep WJ. The ride is a bit stiffer than the factory shocks but with over 600 lbs of concrete in the back end I am not getting any squatting so it's exactly what I was looking for!

Hi Ekrem, I'm glad to assist you! I do not have any way of looking up with specifications. I can only look them up by a vehicle. This Monroe Load Adjusting Shock Absorber - Part No. 58647 fits 1999 - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Rear. The upper loop mount uses a steel sleeve that measures 1.75 inches long. The lower loop mount uses a steel sleeve that measures 1.4375 inches long. The upper sleeve does extend beyond the bushing on each side allowing for proper fitment in the vehicle mount.
