      Difference between part # 58642 and 58643
Asked on 5/21/2016 by Mark from Latrobe, PA

      • CUSTOMER CARE

        A:

Hi Mark, I'm glad to assist you! The only difference is the length of the shock absorber. The length of the part # 58642 is 15.340"-inch when compressed and 25.170"-inch when extended. Whereas, the length of the part # 58643 is 16.590"-inch when compressed and 27.550"-inch when extended. You would have to match one by size to what is on the vehicle that can be fabricated into its place.

These are only for the rear. A normal shop will charge you a few hours of labor to install these. The cost depends on the hourly rate of the shop.
