Comments about Monroe Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:

I ORDERED THESE BECAUSE I AM DISABLED AND HAD TO HAVE A HITCH AND CARRIER PUT ON MY CAR SO WE COULD CARRY MY SCOOTER. THE EXTRA WEIGHT ON THE REAR OF THE CAR MADE THE CARRIER SCRAPE THE PAVEMENT AT TIMES. AFTER INSTALLING THESE MONROE SENSA TRAC SHOCKS THE SCRAPING HAS STOPPED. THE RIDE IN THE CAR IS AS GOOD OR BETTER THAN BEFORE. THE CAR NO LONGER GOES DOWN IN THE REAR WHEN WE LOAD THE SCOOTER. ALSO MONROE SHOCKS ARE MADE IN THE USA AND THESE HAVE A LIFETIME WARRANTY.

I'm glad to assist, Mike! You'll need the Monroe Air Spring to Coil Spring Conversion Kit - Part No. 90003 for your 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. This conversion kit converts the rear air ride suspension to a coil spring suspension. The conversion kit includes all of the components, shocks and/or struts, springs, mounts, and hardware, and is designed to simulate original equipment-style ride and handling characteristics by converting the air ride-equipped vehicle to a coil spring suspension.
