Comments about Monroe Load Adjusting Shock Absorber:

I bought this for my 1987 K5 Blazer. Advance Auto Parts web site said this product will fit my blazer. For those who have a 1987 K5 Blazer let me save you some time, "This does not fit." After some modification to the product I was able to get it to fit. So the question is will I recommend this product to a friend? I would recommend this product to a friend if it fits there vehicle. After installing them the ride is a lot smoother even when going over bumps/railroad tracks. I gave this product 4 out of 5 stars because it didn't fit my vehicle until I modified it. If it would of fit my vehicle right out the box I would of gave it 5 stars. Great product.

Happy to assist you David! These shocks come in pairs and are axle specific. These linked are a set of front shocks and won’t work for the rear. We would need your vehicle year make model and if your vehicle if 4wd to find a proper fitting set of shocks for you.

      • Q:

my truck has OEM quad shocks in the front ( 2 shocks on each side) Most listings for front shocks on my truck ( 1986 k10 suburban) call out a seperate inner and outer front shock. Is this set one inner and one outer? Will two of these kits take care of my whole front end? or is this set meant for a truck with only 2 front shocks total?

          A:

Yes two of these will take care of your entire front end. One order of these is the inner and outer of one side of your truck.
