Great product for the buck, replaced my OEM shocks after 16 yrs and man does it make a difference when hitting pot holes or bumps.

Used promo codes and when buying front/rear and got two for free. Always save tons when using promo codes!

Heated up front strut bolt with heat gun to break loose just a tip incase you come across same issue.

I replaced OEM shocks that had 137k miles on them, and these were worse, much more bounce, and continued to bounce longer. I'm currently looking for better ones to replace these, as I'm really unhappy with their performance. I've had them on for ~300 miles.
I thought Monroe had good shocks, but after this experience with them, I'll be looking at different brands instead.
The only good thing about them was that they were cheap, and physically fit just fine on my old-style 1999 chevy Z71.

I ordered on-line and pick up my order at a local Advance Auto Parts store. Very efficient process. Employees were very helpful. Shocks are excellent for the price. Ride quality improved tremendously in my 96 Chevy C1500 after replacing my old shocks.

Hi Russwoz, good question! The difference between the Monroe Gas Matic Truck and the LT is valving and piston size. The LT are valved for use on a light truck (pickup or jeep), they will give you a better ride.

Hi Tony, glad to assist you! Since it is an OE replacement shock absorber as normally you would reuse your original bolts. I do not have any way of looking up the part with specifications. I can only look them up by a vehicle. If you can tell me your vehicle's year, make, and model, I can suggest parts available for that vehicle.
