Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic Truck Shock Absorber:

I bought these for a newly purchased 1993 Dakota ext cab v8 that had busted front shocks. While these stopped the immediate issue of bouncing, I feel they are too lightweight for this application, because the truck is still unsteady over any major road imperfections. I should of spent a little extra money and bought the next shock up, but I needed a quick cheap fix to get me by until I figured out what else the truck needed. In that sense, the shocks did their job.

Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic Truck Shock Absorber:

Great value to replace worn out OEM shocks on a vehicle that is not driven aggressive style.
Would recommend higher grade shocks for off-road, or agressive applications.
