      Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic Strut:

Perfect replacement strut for our 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan.. Only took 2 days to install (only because we didn't have the spring compression tool. Would have went faster if we got the loaner tool)

The blue color sticks out like a sore thumb on my dark green Town and Country minivan. Works just as good as factory part.

                  Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic Strut:

Works great! Dramatic improvement from old, beat up stock. Still need to get bellows, mounts and springs if u want complete new pkg or reuse old stuff as long as still in good cond. I recommend replacing mounts though, if vehicle is over 10 yrs old and/or has over 120K mi and especially if u live up north. Corrosion and wear/tear beat them up quite a bit.

                    Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic Strut:

The only challenge was the nut which holds the strut mount, best to loosen a LITTLE bit before compressing the springs and have a impact wrench handy.

Being this was for a 2000 T&C minivan, it was nice not to be pushed around by the winds as much. And suspension acts quickly and precise. The ones I took off the OEM which still were functioning but rusted quite a bit. So I was surprised by how much it improved. Considering the age of my vehicle, spending a little extra for the Sensa trac did not make any sense.

I have used gabriel strut in the past on a Pathfinder, which were tuned too firm. And the gabriel shocks for the rear rusted very quickly.

In summary, I got more any expected from these struts. I was looking for no more than a replacement. What I got was an improvement in wind resistance, braking, comfort, and handling. Very good value.

That's the price each. For one Strut. You can also buy the entire strut assembly (with the coil spring and everything together in one piece, so there's no spring compressor needed, just unbolt it, and bolt up the new one..... Price is still per strut....
