Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic Strut:

First off these struts are exactly what they are cheap. That can be a good or bad thing. I replaced my old struts Koni's with them and Koni's are extremely expensive around 200 dollars just for the strut a corner! The koni's even though they are adjustable for performance ride extremely smooth compared to these struts. The bottoms of these are rounded making it really hard to use the spring compressor as the strut won't stand up on it's own wouldn't be a problem if you had a wall mounted spring compressor though. There were no new nuts on the struts just came with the strut only. The bump stop from my old struts would not fit the new strut the shaft must be smaller as well as the rubber boot wouldn't fit again the strut was too small so it won't lock in like it did on my koni's and my stock struts since these parts are still OEM.

Very upset with these struts I am sending my Koni's back to have them rebuilt under warranty good chance I am going to remove these to put the koni's back on.

I really don't have any comments about how good the product is other then the fact they are cheap! Bought them and used a online coupon code so got them for under 80 bucks for both of them and picked them up at my local store.

Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic Strut:

OEM equipment had two non-adjustable lower mounting holes. This unit has one fixed and one adjustable slot - requires an alignment after installation.

Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic Strut:

Good product to replace my Neon's worn out struts. Back to original OEM quality ride (firm, tight and bumpy, (i.e., typical "comfort" level for a Neon :). Does the job it's supposed to and it's a good deal for the money at regular price, even better after discount with weekly coupon code!!!

This will come with new bushings and installation nut(s). I do believe that it comes with the required bolt as well.

This Does NOT come with the hardware. It doesn't even have a nut on it! At least the 2 I got had nothing but the strut. I had to use the old nut from my other struts as well as the bump stop which didn't fit this strut properly as well as the boot which also didn't fit like it did on my old struts. Kinda sucked in my opinion!
