Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic LT Shock Absorber:

Ford Ranger will not hold track on Beltway bridge seams- this was the main reason for replacing shocks in the first place. This is a working truck, putting in 300 to 500 miles a week, and I do not feel safe with these shocks.

Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic LT Shock Absorber:

I know these are the second most inexpensive shocks available for this vehicle and they did improve the ride initially BUT all damping affect was gone before they were a month old. I could not believe how quickly these failed. Even the paint was applied exceptionally thinly. Thankfully Advance will let me trade up under warranty.

Installed on front of 93 Explorer 2WD. Pushed down hard several times on front end and truck took + 3 bounces b4 stopping. Front end shook at ~65 mph just as with old shocks. Same balanced tires for 20,000 miles.

            Gas-matic lt = fail!!

Comments about Monroe Gas-Matic LT Shock Absorber:

These shocks are horrible. I recently replaced my old worn out ones. These let the car travel way too much at sudden stops and acceleration. on the bright side... they are yellow lol.
