this was the first time I attempted this job. The complete part aspect was very attractive for a first timer. Disassembly was fairly easy and straightforward. Reinstall was a little more difficult. This part was slightly longer than the original part. It took much longer than disassemble. I thought I may have to take apart the entire knuckle, but after working at it for while, it finally slipped in and I was able to finish the install. everything else was a perfect match. I will be buying another one soon for the other side. I expect it to take less time. Total time was 2 hours for removal and install of this part.

installed to quiet the squeaking noise that is all to familiar as struts going and i was told when i got it aligned that the coil was going to go so i replaced the whole thing, not a bad price considering 20% off just for paying online. it was difficult to fit in the knuckle and didnt want to tighten up until it was just right. the only thing im upset with and it could be something else needing greased but the squeak is still present after rebuilding the whole front end, i would assume this is because i bought the spring strut as opposed to the gas strut, if you have the money buy the gas strut, a few more dollars alot more quiet and comfort.

Installation was easy enough. Very Noisy. Rattles are hear when going over bumps. Overall ride seems to be slightly better than old units. Would not purchase again. Possibly go up to the next level of Monroe units or different brand.

i installed this on my car over a year ago, the lip where it locks into the steering knuckle broke off due to rust, but i got a replacement the same day, took all of 45 mins to change. i always recommend buying a quick strut assembly vs piecing it together, its cheeper and much safer than compressing coils. allow a week or so for the new assembly to settle then re torque your bolts to ensure a tight fit. for an "economy" part i am highly satisfied.

I bought a pair of these struts two weeks ago. They started making a thumping noise a day after the install. A few more days went by and the thumping noise was louder. Upon further inspection, I saw a gash right above the weld on the strut assembly! I would highly recommend buying a different brand. When I bought the car, the rear struts were the exact same brand as these I bought for the fronts; the rears also need to be replaced. The rear struts are fairly new still!!

The best part is this is a complete assembly not a bunch of different parts you need to put on.
