Comments about Monroe Air Spring to Coil Spring Conversion Kit:

I shopped around and found that this was the best price for this type of product. There are other manufactures that make similar suspension products but are much more expensive. The instructions are not for the novice and do not have a list of tools needed to complete the job. I had a friend help with this job and we were able to complete it in an one evening. I would check some of the videos on internet if you have never done this before. It might also help to have a shop manual to reference.

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

I'm happy to help, Dartazse! To disarm the "Check Air Suspension" light after installing this Monroe Air Spring to Coil Spring Conversion Kit (Part No. 90010), remove the
instrument cluster then unplug the light or remove the bulb from this warning lamp. Installation instructions are available from Monroe here: http://www.monroe.com/assets/downloads/english/conversion_kits/FORM01125T.pdf. A repair manual, such as Haynes Part No. 36059 or Chilton Part No. 26666, will also provide additional replacement instructions.

  • Q:

How do you disable the leveling sensor on the Ford Expedition when installing the conversion kit?
Asked on 7/22/2012 by Tom from McMinnville, Or

    1 answer

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Disconnecting a battery cable will also deactivate an electronic self-leveling suspension, but you will also cut power to all the other onboard electronics. So to save yourself the embarrassment of erasing all the preset channels on the radio as well as the PCM's memory, use the deactivation switch (if one is provided) or find and pull the fuse that powers the self-leveling control module or air compressor. For any further assistance, please visit your nearest Advance Auto store or call us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and one of our representative there would be more than happy to assist you.
