Part No. 102490/98FS32 Warranty Details
Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Lubricant LS 75W-140 is a supreme-performance, synthetic, multipurpose, automotive gear lubricant designed to meet the highest-level performance requirements of many modern passenger vehicles in a wide range of operating conditions, including limited-slip applications, as well as deliver outstanding power transfer performance. Product Features:
  • Meets the API Service GL-5 EP gear oil service classification
  • Performs over a wide range of temperatures
  • Reduced fluid friction
  • Reduces wear and spalling under the high-speed, high-torque and high-horsepower conditions in many sport utility vehicles, vans, light trucks, and cars
  • Not recommended for automatic, manual or semiautomatic transmissions for which engine oil or automatic transmission fluids are recommended
  • Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Lubricant LS 75W-140 is recommended for use in modern high-performance vehicles like sport utility vehicles, vans and light-duty trucks requiring API GL-5 performance

Mobil1 is great stuff. Glad I have used this and other products before so I know it's good since I still don't have what I ordered after a store screw up. Can't knock the product review despite the poor service and delivery.

Good gear oil, but beware if you have a FORD Tracloc differential.....do your research as you MAY need to purchase friction modifier as well even though it is SUPPOSE to have an adequate amount already in the product. I myself among many others I read up on found that there is not enough in it.

Use this for all my ford vehicles that have limited slip rears. You DO NOT need to purchase friction modifier, it's included in the formula and states that as well. People still feel compelled to buy modifier for no reason.

Sorry, I do not have the fluid specifications for any motorcycles. I recommend checking in your owner's manual or calling a Harley-Davidson dealer to check what your transmission calls for.

Hi noob! Good question! The 75W-140 is required for heavy duty or towing applications only. If you are not towing then you can go for the Mobil1 Synthetic Gear Lubricant LS 75W-90 (1 qt.) - Part No. 104361/98W573 which would be the the right weight for your Sequoia. Front differential requires 2.2 qts and rear requires 2.6 qts approximately.

Will this work with a regular axle (no limited slip)?
Does this gear lubricant absorb water? I was told the original Ford synthetic does not, we launch a boat and were told to use gear lubricant which absorbs water to avoid any possible corrosion.
