  • Q:

    can someone clear up the 4 ohm / 8ohm sspec listing??

    is there a resistor you remove to stup up to 8 ohmss?
    i know these cant sense what is being fed to them unless they have an ic built in.

    WHICH IS IT 4 OR 8 OHMS?

      This listing is because it can be wired up as a 4 ohm system like for older car stock stereos, or it can be installed in a newer more demanding 8 ohm system. There is no regulator on it, it is just built to withstand and perform to either. Hope this helps

    Since the description of this product says that it is a "factory replacement," does this means that the wire hook-up will be a clip-type part that clips onto the wires in the car, or would installation involve attaching the wires from my car directly to the speaker?
