I used this product on my black 2010 Mercedes ML-350 4-matic. I applied the wax by hand and buffed it out by hand, both with ease in 1 hour. A week later I hosed off the vehicle with just water and then a towel dry and it looked like I just waxed it again. The product smelled good too, not a oily odor.

There are 1,000,001 waxes/sealants out there, and I've always been pretty happy with Meguiar's so I figured I'd give this a shot. While there is some level of shine, it's just not that impressive. The directions say it can be used in direct sunlight... BIG mistake. It was VERY difficult to remove and it smells BAD. Stick with Meguiar's Yellow wax, or try a different brand.

Used in a heated garage about 65 degrees. Paste seems hard but it does get on the sponge pad. Spreads easily. Did the whole car. Then buffed it out. All done by hand. I used the supplied microfiber towel to wipe the wax off then my big cotton towel for a second pass. Shine is excellent and the depth is very nice. I've used Zaino for a long time and tried this out of curiosity. I'll continue to use it. The container will last a long time.
Make sure you put on a thin coat. It is not hard to apply or remove that way. The less is more approach here.

The reason I chose Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax is a synthetic wax meaning it was not derived from a natural source like Carnauba (palm leaves) or bees wax. I used this product on a thirty year old Porsche with the original white paint. I was concerned with yellowing over time because of the condition and age of the paint and that the car was stored for long periods of time. By using a synthetic based product you basically eliminate the color chance of the wax as it ages. I was very pleased with the outcome and used a polishing compound to first remove light stains and oxidized paint. The results were fantastic!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I'm by no means an expert on car finish or paint, but I was very happy with the results of using this product. I applied by hand and removed with an orbital buffer, with no issues at all.

I used this wax after I clayed my car and the shine and depth of color is excellent! I used thin cover as I usually do, but this was harder thatn usual to remove. First time user, will use many more times. Love it!

As always, Meguiar's products are top notch for the automobile enthusiast. The new Meguiar's Ultimate Syn Pol wax lives up to the reputation created by the Car Crazy folks at Meguiar's. I had been a loyal user of Meguiar's Gold Class paste wax on all of my vehicles. This new product will replace Gold Class in my own personal stable. The wax goes on easily and is removed just as easily. The gloss and depth of shine is outstanding. I could not ask for anymore out of this product and would highly recommend it.
