Great Price and Easy to Install BUT...

Comments about MagnaFlow Direct Fit Catalytic Converter, Stainless Steel:

The exact fit catalytic converter matched the OEM system well BUT I did have to bend the heat shield because it was in direct contact with the transmission oil pan. I simply used slight pressure with a pry bar to create about a 1/2 inch air space between the two components. You will NEED TO BUY two exhaust manifold bolts and they ARE NOT a common autoparts store item. The Ford part number for the bolt is N803420-S2 and I paid $7.50 for each one at a dealership parts department. The manifold flange will bend during installation. The unit came with a rear flange gasket but there were no bolts/nuts included with it. Magnaflow could improve the ease of installation for this product by providing the mounting hardware (which was frustrating).
