used it to tin some small gauge wire, attach dc jacks, and desolder circuit boards. works at least as well as a typical 40 watt electric iron.

This would probably work good if designed better.the thing that works is with all tips off and just a flame.with any tips on it won't hold flame.need a redesign asap.

they sell this lovely piece of garbage right along next to the magtorch refill bottles part number (mt150b) with universal tips to refill. IT WONT WORK. Just sprays butane everywhere!! After buying and finding this out, the instructions say that "they highly recommend using (mt100b)" Ohhh OK... Only one problem with that. THEY DON'T SELL IT ANYMORE!!!! biggest waste of money and hassel

Comments about Magna Butane Gas Micro Torch:

I've had birthday candles burn hotter. The soldering tip does not work even a little; it will not hold a flame. After a few minutes of use, I can't seem to shut the flow of gas off. This product is a major safety hazard. I can't believe such defective products are still on the shelves.

Comments about Magna Butane Gas Micro Torch:

Great deal if they included some butane, so I could use it right away. Instead, it's a hassle compared to an electric soldering iron and cannot tell how much butane is left.

                    A:

I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
