My new hopped up Olds 455 just got as new set of 10.2 compression pistons and the use of 93 octane gasoline didn't seem to stop the pinging when all four barrels opened up. Sounded like a popcorn popper at times.
Put one 15 ounce bottle of this in a full tank of 93 octane gas and the pinging stopped IMMEDIATELY. This stuff REALLY WORKS!!!!!!

I needed to eliminate the clattering I was getting in an older high-compression engine. Not racing it or anything - just a street driven car. I had read good reviews online from other users so I thought I'd give it a try. The price was good as I managed to catch a sale. Put one bottle in the tank with about 18 gallons of premium unleaded and it seemed to do nothing - same amount of clattering upon any amount of acceleration as without using the product. I was trying to avoid going with a mix of racing fuel and premium unleaded but that's the only thing I've found so far that really does the trick.
The Octane Booster product might work for those who only need a little bit of octane increase. All I know is it didn't work for my situation.

This product is awesome. Iev got a 2000 ford ranger xlt 3.0L and I haul a 20 footer boat quite often and I tell you when I add this product it feels like the boat isn't even there and the truck stays just as powerful even without the product in the tank for a long time

I am always doubtful of these type products. After reading other's reviews, I thought I'd give a try. Man, this product does what it says! My truck was getting a little sluggish and having a hard time idling...this is the cure. Definitely use this if you need an octane booster.
