Comments about K&N Round Open Top Cotton Gauze Air Filter:
I first started using K&N filters on dirt bikes and my Harley`s. When I got into Dirt track racing, I was having to replace the paper filters every week, plus, I was dyno-ing my motors and found a few more horsepower with the K&N filters. I found that I could go 8 to 10 races or more before having to clean and reoil my K&N`s. Then I got the cover that goes over the filter and I could go longer. I could tell the K&N`s were better because I didn`t see the telltale brown streaks of dust leading from the filter to the carb on the bottom plate of the aircleaner that I saw from the paper filters. They saved my motors and gave me more horsepower. That`s what it is all about. K&N makes GOOD stuff.
