Comments about JB Weld Waterweld White Epoxy Putty:

This product advertsies that it's for plastic fuel tanks and marine use. I attempted to seal a hole in a boat's fuel tank made of crosslink polyethelene. It did not even come close to adhering to the tank. The leftovers however did stick very well to my stainless workbench top! I would not recommend for fuel tanks. I called JB Weld and they said that it would not work. They told me to take it back to the store as they would not give me a refund. Luckliy the store did.

Comments about JB Weld Waterweld White Epoxy Putty:

I used it to plug 2 holes in my fuel tank while the fuel was still leaking from the tank. It stopped instantly. I didn't have to drain it at all. It didn't use very much and within a couple of minutes it set up. I didn't have to sit and hold it on I just covered the hole and smoothed it out and walked away. This stuff is great!
