      There's a misconception that this is the fuel pump relay but in fact it's the EMI or Main Engine Relay which controls startup and ecu operation. Both are B5B4 relays but with different series after that and connection ports. The relays are not interchangeable and should be verified in order to diagnose which one is at fault. The correct fuel pump relay is SMP RY-675 or B&A R6180. An easy way to pin-point which one could be at fault would be to see if the battery icon and inmobilizer icon (if equipped) on the dash lights up when the key is on start. If they are not lighting up, this relay (green B5B418821) is usually at fault.
