Comments about CARQUEST by Intermotor Relay:

Perfect fit of both Electrical Connector and Metal Bolt-On Mounting Bracket. Don't be thrown if case is slightly different shape. I replaced a 1995 Civic EX Coupe's Factory Original Main Relay with this one, after it's Solder Connections and/or coils failed. This part was a perfect replacement. Don't be bothered that the original was Wider (perpendicular to Top Metal Mounting Bracket) but Shorter (from Top Mounting Bracket downward.

FYI, my (20 year old!) Factory Original that this Relay successfully replaced was marked MITSUBA RELAY ASSEMBLY, MAIN / RZ-0132 / JAPAN 12V, and located above Driver's Left Foot, accessible after removing three screws and dropping plastic panel underneath Steering Wheel and Drivers Side Dashboard. Unbolt 10 mm hex head from Bracket, disconnect, plug in new relay, and bolt back in.

Power to the OBDII port is commonly shared with the cigar lighter or power port. Check with the fuse. Even after if the problem persist, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis in order to avoid intermitence.
