Shipped slower than said online. Shipped in two separate orders and one of the orders was two days later than the late one. Price was better online, so if you got the time order online. These coil packs went in a 2008 VW Passat 2.0T with no problems at all.

I purchased 4 and one worked for a month. Another worked for almost 4 months! When the first one failed, i didn't believe it could be a failed part. Upon visiting an audi garage, i was told it was a failed part and the repair only cost me around 100 bucks (new part included). After this i found out from advance auto parts that i'd need the failed part to enact a warranty. I didn't bother contacting the garage because who keeps garbage? You can bet i'll be bringing in the rest of the failed parts...one...by one...good thing i saved by spending over 50! almost makes it worth it!

They just keep dying...

By

from Pensacola FL

Comments about Intermotor Ignition Coil:

Bought four of these a little over a year ago I think, replaced one a few months ago cyl 4 and now cyl 1 died, im guessing 2 & 3 are probably about to die as well... Probably only put about 15000 miles on them... That being said I've had niggling issues with these from pretty much day one...

Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for something more reliable...

2 failed within 6 months

By

from New Jersey

Comments about Intermotor Ignition Coil:

Stick with OEM coil packs or a choose better manufacturer. Two coil packs failed already. One within 3 months, another within 6 months. The coil pack seems to separate as well, so when you take them out, the sleeve remains inside the spark plug well. OEM coil packs have never done that.

Pros

Cons

Best Uses

    Comments about Intermotor Ignition Coil:

Works as well as the dealership replacement for a whole lot less money. I just bought 2 more. Just an FYI replace all of them at once. I only replaced 1 and two weeks later another one went cost me $100.00 plus towing under warranty at Volkswagen.

Easy to install, once I determined the cylinder from my scanner tool, the rest took about an hour. Works great and is much lower cost than the original part.
