Comments about CARQUEST by Intermotor Back-Up Light Switch:

This is listed as a direct replacement for the backup light switch for a Suzuki Samurai. It is an exact fit, but will NOTt work because it's plunger is metal which grounds out thru the tranny and blows your fuse. The original factory switch has a nonconductive/plastic plunger for a reason.

This replacement plunger may work fine for other applications, but NOT Suzuki Samurais.

The reverse light switch is part of the neutral safety switch. It is located on the left side of the transmission just above the pan.
