This Interdynamics Radiator and Cooling System UV Dye (1 oz.) (Part No. 375CS) is an Engine Coolant UV Dye. Single application of radiator / engine cooling system UV leak detection dye. Safe for use in all vehicle makes and models (except 1996 and newer GM models that use DEX-COOL® coolant) and it is compatible with all types of anti-freeze except GM DEX-COOL coolant. The most likely reason that you can not mix this with Dex-Cool coolant is because the additives in it do not mix well with Dex-Cool and can either cause corrosion or clogging.
