My system stopped taking the freon at about 37 psi, so that is where I left it .... in the blue Filled zone on the gauge. Chart on can said to shoot for about 50 psi with temperature adjustment, but I have learned from experience to charge until more presses on trigger no longer move gauge dial. System had shown bubbles in sight window, initial pressure reading was 17 psi, so can more than doubled pressure with some 40% of freon still available in can. Like being able to reuse the product, old R-12 cans were a one-shot deal, lots of waste. Remember when consumers couldn't even buy the new R-134 for home install, very little gas escapes during this process. The connect valve is a great design, pull back outer ring and release when fully on low pressure side (Blue Cap) valve. No leaks at connection during process. I shook can, then pressed trigger, hard to do both simultaneously with hose length. Very chilly A/C now!! Make sure hose is firmly connected to can male thread, but plastic threads, do not over-tighten!

Comments about Interdynamics EZ Chill R-134a Refrigerant Plus Oil with Leak Sealer (18 oz.):

I had most of an older can with the install guage/hose. Filled a 2011 Honda Accord and it seemed to work fine, but the pressure reading was a little low (just over 25 pounds). I bought new same product and when I went to increase pressure, it was already about 33 pounds according to the new guage??? Other than that, it did the job and I've got cold AC.

This never left the parking lot. Quick connector would not go onto the fitting on my truck. The store employee told me that almost everyone has that problem with this brand. Had to return it right there and purchase the more expensive brand that worked perfectly.

The included gauge with color-coded charge range makes using this very easy. It also gives me a point of reference if I have to recharge again. time will tell if the included sealer actually fixed the leak, but for now, it gets 5 stars.

Hi Steff, glad to assist you! The pressure should be 45-55 psi (310-379 kPa) on the low. 225-250 psi (1551-1724 kPa) on the high. However, when it comes to repair and maintenance it is always recommended referring the vehicle owner's manual for the exact specifications to get better and safer results.
