My system stopped taking the freon at about 37 psi, so that is where I left it .... in the blue Filled zone on the gauge. Chart on can said to shoot for about 50 psi with temperature adjustment, but I have learned from experience to charge until more presses on trigger no longer move gauge dial. System had shown bubbles in sight window, initial pressure reading was 17 psi, so can more than doubled pressure with some 40% of freon still available in can. Like being able to reuse the product, old R-12 cans were a one-shot deal, lots of waste. Remember when consumers couldn't even buy the new R-134 for home install, very little gas escapes during this process. The connect valve is a great design, pull back outer ring and release when fully on low pressure side (Blue Cap) valve. No leaks at connection during process. I shook can, then pressed trigger, hard to do both simultaneously with hose length. Very chilly A/C now!! Make sure hose is firmly connected to can male thread, but plastic threads, do not over-tighten!

I was very low so 1 bottle helped but did not fill my tank up, so I will be more than happy to get a second bottle. Used a thermometer and it got into the 30's in my car. Better than 60's or 70's that was blowing before. Spent 20-25 minutes over 2 days filling it and was probably the easiest thing I have ever fixed for my vehicle. I am just dissapointed it took me until late July to do what I should have done in April. I will buy a 2nd bottle to have and I will highly recommend this to everyone that I know.

Product works great and if not for the EXTREMELY short hose would be 5 of 5. 2003 Chevy Malibu, the LP connection location is terrible. But the short hose makes matters worse.

I converted my collector '88 Reatta to 134 a couple years ago. The computer was telling me that the refrigerant was low. I bought this because of customer ratings and found it easy to use. The car A/C has been working excellently this season. I used this product about a month ago.

I read some reviews that said it was difficult to attach or it was flimsy. I found this not in my case. The little car's engine compartment is pretty tight. However, it is configured for easy access to the hook-up valve. I also thought that the gauge was well suited for its purpose.

Worked exactly as described. I cannot yet say whether the stop leak is working, but the gauge in on the can works as it should and it was easy to use. The only downside is the short hose. Not an issue for me because my low side port it right on top, but it could be a little tricky for some others.

It has been three years since I used it on my 2008 Honda Accord. A/C has been working pefectly since.
My a/c system totally frozen ( I mean frozen with ice ) my aluminum lines and no air coming out of my vents because the evaporator must have been totally iced up also.
Just driving along the highway, the start of my summer vacation and no a/c! Panic! Just a can of this stuff and my vacation was saved and a/c permanently repaired!!!

How much of the 18oz in this can is R-134A and is the oil PAG-46?
I need to service a 2005 Hyundai Tucson that is empty after replacing the condenser/dryer unit. According to the chart, the capacity is 19oz of 134A and about 4.5oz of oil. Therefore, trying to determine the oil capacity in the can and if a second can is needed?

                                A:

I'm glad to assist, Brad! According to the Material Safety Data Sheet provided for this product, 80-90% is R-134a, 1-20% is an additive package and 0-1% is a leak sealer. If you are only needing to refill this vehicle's system, I suggest purchasing the R-134a (Part No. A1300) and PAG 46 oil (Part No. GPL-5) separately for your 2005 Hyundai Tucson.

The EZ Chill R-134a (Part No. MAC-134) includes a leak sealer which is unnecessary if you don't have any leaks. The manufacturer also does not release the viscosity of the oil used the all-in-one kits.

I'm glad to assist, Lynn! The Interdynamics EZ Chill R-134a Refrigerant plus Oil with Leak Sealer is a universal product designed to work in most vehicles that utilize R-134a refrigerant. The AC system oil Type S is a PAG 46 oil. The objection that your vehicle manufacturer may have is with the leak sealer. AC compressor manufacturers typically recommend against using leak sealers in their compressors and in the AC system.

I'm glad to assist, Tim!

If you prefer to follow the manufacturers recommendations either Part No. GPL-5 or Part No. 59007 will provide you with the proper oil type for your vehicle. Part No. A1300 will provide you with the refrigerant you need.

Hi Bronxboy, happy to assist you! This product is not specifically made for your vehicle. It will work on most vehicles that use R-134a refrigerant and would work for your vehicle.

I used just shy of a can in my wife's 2007 Chrysler Pacifica (4.0). It worked much better for about a day and that's it. Any idea if compatibility is an issue? Other suggestions?

Hi Dino, glad to serve you! This product will work fine on your 2007 Chrysler Pacifica 4.0L as the R-134a refrigerant is compatible on all 1993 and later vehicles. As there may be some other reasons for this problem, I would suggest that you to take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.
